Taxim, which is located in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, features regionally-inspired Greek dishes paired with an all-Greek wine list.     I started with two plates and just kept ordering more, as an enthusiast for good food - i can promise this place will never get a bad review for food, hospitality or taste. This is the perfect Turkish food!

    Greek Yumminess happening here!!! I came here a few years ago on a date and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Service was impeccable as I believe the woman's name was Miranda. Dined inside this weekend and had another great experience with a lovely young lady by the name of Laboni...very good at her job as she broke down all the goodies for us and made our experience even better. Ambience is very nice as its an authentic Greek restaurant so it looks the part. Its definitely good Euro vibes here! Food here never disappoints and I recommend the following: Fried cauliflower ( KOUNOUPÍDI TIGANITÓ)/ capers and whipped goat feta Octopus (HTAPODÁKI STI SGÁRA) Hummus (Revithosalata) and pita Braised Lamb Shank (ARNÍ YUVETSÁKI) Wood Grilled Lamb Chops (PAÏDÁKIA ME PLIGOÚRI) Wild Boar (AGRIOGURUNO) Baklavas Greek Coffee Karavitakis Klima (medium body red wine) Everything I listed was delicious between both trips here! Great place for dates and group outings. I love this place and plan to take advantage of the rooftop patio that I just became aware of.
