Bramleys is a family owned restaurant based in Oakwood, North London. Our focus is to use the freshest seasonal produce. Our kitchen works with local suppliers in order to minimise wastage as much as possible, while caring for the environment. Our ultimate goal is to extract as much as we can from every single ingredient while creating this unique, flavoursome menu.The food will be paired with an exclusive wine list as well as some amazing cocktails, mocktails, spirits and drinks in general. Alongside the most spectacular, intimate decor and pleasant atmosphere as well as a VIP Area which can be hired for private events of 20-30 people. Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

The Connaught Grill, once one of London’s most celebrated restaurants, has returned to The Connaught giving a respectful nod to its distinguished heritage. Design of the restaurant is led by interior architect John Heah with a strong focus on art and craftsmanship complete with extraordinary signature wall panels, tables and chairs made by Mira Nakashima bespoke for the space.Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the intimate 46-seat Connaught Grill is under the direction of internationally renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. This is his modern interpretation of a classic grill with an open kitchen complete with wood-burning grill and rotisserie offering the finest British sourced produce. The menu includes ingredients from Gillardeau oysters and Dover sole to British game and Wagyu beef along with an exceptional wine list drawn from The Connaught wine cellar.

At the heart of the offerings are Cumbrian steaks from Britain’s Lake District, featuring single-serve options like the 8oz dry-aged fillet sirloin and Hereford fillet on the bone, alongside the Boston rib Côte de boeuf, priced per 100g for sharing with the table.As for those less carnivorously inclined, we’d recommend the romesco-spiked Globe artichoke barigoule to start and the Cornish Turbot on the bone dotted with Atlantic surf clam pil pil to share.
