The Connaught Grill, once one of London’s most celebrated restaurants, has returned to The Connaught giving a respectful nod to its distinguished heritage. Design of the restaurant is led by interior architect John Heah with a strong focus on art and craftsmanship complete with extraordinary signature wall panels, tables and chairs made by Mira Nakashima bespoke for the space.Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the intimate 46-seat Connaught Grill is under the direction of internationally renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. This is his modern interpretation of a classic grill with an open kitchen complete with wood-burning grill and rotisserie offering the finest British sourced produce. The menu includes ingredients from Gillardeau oysters and Dover sole to British game and Wagyu beef along with an exceptional wine list drawn from The Connaught wine cellar.

Welcome to HUMO, London's hottest new restaurant where all our dishes come into contact with our custom made, four metre long, wood fired grill. HUMO opened in January 2023 to rave reviews and has already entered into the top 100 restaurants at the National Restaurant Awards, placing 64th. Our very own Head Sommelier has also been voted one of Harper’s top 25 sommeliers in the country with over 400 wines on the wine list to accommodate an array of tastes and preferences for wine enthusiasts too.In addition to the restaurant upstairs, we do have a chef’s table at HUMO, Abajo, where we are able to host group bookings or for the larger parties. In Abajo we provide exclusive experiences for all types of occasions for up to 10 guests and for take overs of the main restaurant, up to 40 guests seated and 50 guests standing.

Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests.
