Bramleys is a family owned restaurant based in Oakwood, North London. Our focus is to use the freshest seasonal produce. Our kitchen works with local suppliers in order to minimise wastage as much as possible, while caring for the environment. Our ultimate goal is to extract as much as we can from every single ingredient while creating this unique, flavoursome menu.The food will be paired with an exclusive wine list as well as some amazing cocktails, mocktails, spirits and drinks in general. Alongside the most spectacular, intimate decor and pleasant atmosphere as well as a VIP Area which can be hired for private events of 20-30 people. Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The Connaught Grill, once one of London’s most celebrated restaurants, has returned to The Connaught giving a respectful nod to its distinguished heritage. Great food, I had the Lamb Tacos for a starter and for the mains I had the Argentine Sirloin Steak (Medium) and fries. The steak was juicy and super tasty. The fries were addictive. All in all the food was amazing. The whole place had a happy friendly ambience. The customers all looked happy and we're enjoying their respective food orders. The place attracted a decent crowd as well, it was a family friendly place, The staff was also very friendly. I couldn't fault the place at all. Eating here was a pleasure. Good people making good food for good people in a good place 10/10

Quality restaurant. Great food. I am often made to feel odd for liking my steak well done and usually they come cremated but not here. I asked for my steak well done (no pink). When it arrived it was slightly pink but staff were fantastic and remedied the situation without making me feel uncomfortable or destroying the steak. it is really worth it for the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff members. By far the best restaurant we found in London.

Waitress was super helpful and friendly but the whole experience felt a bit cramped - the tables next to us were really close and there wasn’t much room for all the dishes they had brought out. The restaurant also smelt strongly of cigarette smoke.
