This is the East End's largest Halal steak restaurant bringing you Irish Steak cooked on the infamous Josper Grill. Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history. The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. We wanted to order the chef's special but it wasn't available, so we got the ribeye for mains instead. It was outstanding—juicy, savory, and every bit was edible. The starters were great too, especially the prawns gamba. Overall, a fantastic meal!
