The founder is a mother of three who was looking for places locally to have a nice coffee and some lovely brunch whilst my older children were at school and I had the little one with me.Locally there wasn’t anything except for the coffee shop chains who didn’t offer proper meals during those core school hours where you want to be able to have enough time to enjoy your meal but also get out by 2pm on time for the school run. There are plenty of places for lunch that open from 12 but women like the founder who maybe would like to meet a friend for a coffee and brunch there wasn’t anything.This is why I decided to start Nashtaa. Where we can all go have a lovely cup of tea or coffee, a nice brunch with a fusion twist and a homemade slice of cake to top it off! All in a beautiful Instagram worthy setting.

Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others. The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp). For a time-honoured experience, the evening A La Carte menu offers characteristic main courses complemented by a great selection of wines, cocktails and customary Indian drinks. A gourmet 7-course Tasting Menu (£65 pp) will be available in the early evenings (Sunday to Thursday). All of this customary deliciousness pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing and the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, Orissa, and other regions.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mova a fantastic restaurant that offers an incredible fusion of Indian, Chinese, and Sri Lankan cuisines.     What a great find! We booked after not receiving a response for a table from the Mango Lounge and we’re glad we did. The venue and decor are first rate - very tastefully done. the service was professional and friendly (thank you Ibrahim and Rizwan for making our evening a special one). The food is possibly as good as any high-end Indian restaurant that we’ve eaten in around the world. We had the Lamb Shank on the recommendation of Ibrahim; it was superb. My wife had the Baghdad Baingan (egg plant) which was also out of this world. We will definitely be back asap.

    As ever a delight to eat at Amchur, we live about an hour away but the journey is worth it for the quality and wide choice of lovely food plus wonderful service. Somewhere we will continue to visit regularly.
