Well worth trying are the handful of dishes unique to this popular local restaurant, a wonderful apricot chicken Kashmir among them. Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. The food and cocktails were delicious. Although the service was very good upon entry, it tailed off towards dessert ordering. The staff were very friendly however. Thank you.

I thought that, because the ability to bring your own alcohol leads to this restaurant having a more western clientele than some of Tooting’s other Pakistani restaurants, the food might be compromised. This was not the case. Everything we ordered was excellent and served by enthusiastic and helpful staff. Great experience. Can’t wait to go again.
