Great meal and excellent service! The restaurant was hopping with live music as well. Definitely worth getting off your ship to have a unique foodie experience in Old San Juan.

Everything was magical, the service, the cocktails, the food, the atmosphere, in short, everything.

The team was perfect. The host was diligent in having the table ready upon arrival. The waiter was respectful. Upon request he provided suggestions for the night. He was continuously checking on our needs. The runner and the assistant manager also visited the table. The food was very well presented and cooked as requested. The waiter's dessert recommendation was excellent. Great experience.

The ambiance is excellent, the cuisine is extraordinary, and the service is top-notch. Thank you, Nicole, for taking such great care of me during my visit to Paulina Escanes.

The atmosphere and food were really really good. But the long wait times were compounded by an apparent lack of sufficient, staff just walking past you and not even acknowledging you, and staff that seemed to be clueless. However, once the bartender started to assist us, things went well. The space is very calming so the waiting was not as unpleasant as it could have been.
