Was friendly welcomed. My Starter of chilli chicken was tepid, my husbands prawns were lovely, but waiter offered a free drink for the warm chicken starter. The Ribeye steak was not available but offered the rump at the discounted price which was tasty. The service was excellent and I’ve booked to come back with my girl friends in a couple of weeks.

My mum and I went into Scotch & Rye and both immediately said we would come again, but would need to save up some we could try all of the cocktails. The staff were friendly and we didn't feel rushed into ordering, the food was out of the kitchen quickly and was so tasty just talking about it is making my mouth water! I would recommend going to Scotch & Rye to anyone. The only downside is that there is no disabled toilets but other than that everything was amazing.

Aye Eat is a hidden gem in Inverness that confirmed why I've fallen in love with this city! Every bite was a revelation. The scotch eggs had a perfectly crisp exterior and a delightfully runny yolk. The soup of the day, bursting with flavor, warmed us right up. The mussels were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the Christmas dessert paired with mulled wine was a festive delight. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the fantastic service. Nina and Kieran were the epitome of hospitality – friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny. Their attempt to converse in French with my boyfriend added a special touch to the charming atmosphere. Kieran, consider this a friendly challenge – next time, I expect a rendition of the Greek 🇬🇷 anthem to complete the experience! We can't wait to return!
