Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, been renowned for hospitality and generosity as well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. Located at the heart of Tuscany, it has a history of exporting mouth-watering wines to England, having been possibly the very first to bring Chianti here in 1725. The menu features true Tuscan cuisine, with many of the ingredients being imported especially from the Villa and surrounding farms. Prepared with passion by a hand-picked crew, these maestros employ traditional techniques to recreate the essence of Siena. The care which goes into the menu is matched only by the attention to detail with which this landmark has been transformed into an elegant yet comfortable place to relax and enjoy good food, great wine and excellent company. My husband and myself went for a pre theatre lunch. We arrived slightly early and were shown to our table by a friendly waiter. It was a very cold day but the restaurant was lovely and warm. My husband chose the seafood linguine and I had the saltimbocca with saute potatoes. The food arrived promptly. Delicious and generous portions. For dessert, tiramisu for me and pannacotta with fruits for my husband. Both good. Both chose draft Moretti beer and coffees to finish. Highly recommend. Need to book as the restaurant was full of diners most going to the Orange Tree theatre a short walk away.

Delicious food, excellent service and a mean cocktail! We weren't rushed, my friend has dietary requirements (gluten free, no onion, no garlic) and they were able to adapt dishes for her because everything is cooked fresh.

Remains consistently good and seasonal. The dining room has been updated. Still feels contemporary due to the amazing art that the owner hosts… but definitely in winter it this feels more “cosy”. Superb and consistent
