He seemed genuine and willing to help, he provided us recommendations for dinner and dessert and gave us tips how to best enjoy the lemon tart and described how their tiramisu and limoncello are different. The ambiance was perfect—warm lighting and cosy decor set the stage for a lovely evening! We were greeted by Stu, who is super friendly (and very funny) and he made us feel right at home! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was absolutely lovely and took the time to chat with us and gave us recommendations for other restaurants as well, as we are new to Calgary. They offer a wide variety of dishes, but we opted for their specials. I ordered the seafood pasta, while my husband chose the wagyu steak. Both dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. To finish off the evening, we indulged in dessert. The Nutella cheesecake was heavenly—light and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, our experience at Carino was exceptional. We left feeling happy, full, and excited to return.
