We love Plum Point Bistro. The food is consistently very good however, I do wish they would switch their menu up once in a while. Other than the daily specials, I believe the menu has been the same for many years. Some consistent seasonal offerings would be great. I'd love to see a scallop offering and maybe an eggplant dish.

We had been wanting to eat there for some time but could never get a reservation. Now I understand why. We were promptly seated. Our waitress was friendly & very knowledgeable about the menu. She even helped me decide on which dish to get as it all sounded so good. The food was absolutely scrumptious! Delicious blends of mouth watering real Italian dishes. You won’t be disappointed!

Each dish was excellent. Group of four ordered 2 apps, 4 entrees, and 4 desserts. Attention to detail in the crafting of the food- including texture, flavor combinations, mouthfeel, cooking, and presentation. Felt well cared for as the waitstaff was very attentive. Consistently a favorite place to eat out!

This is a great place to find good wine in all price ranges and with an experienced, knowledgeable wait staff. Our waiter knew how the food was prepared, how to pronounce it, and from what region it derived. He also answered our questions about the wine very well. The veal chop that my husband had was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I enjoyed every course, too. I would recommend this restaurant for those who care about good food and who might find the old house where this restaurant operates and its homey amenities charming. It's a bit tight up the staircase, and one gets the sense of eating in Nonna's dining room, but that makes it a culinary experience worth making the trip to lower Thames Street.
