Café Gabbiano located on Siesta Key was originated by the Migliaccio family in 2003 where is four sons grew in and out of the restaurant business.A second venture in downtown Sarasota was opened and designed by Pietro in 2012 named Casantica, a small old house converted to a quaint homey restaurant. This is my happy place! I brought friends for a gals’ lunch and we were pampered from start to finish. A lovely welcome by the always gracious Ana, fun and topnotch service thanks to Amy and smiles from every other face in the Mediterraneo family. Did I mention that everyone raved about their food?! I’ve been a fan for a few decades and I never get tired of sharing this special restaurant with others.
