Carbone is Chef Mario Carbone’s homage to the great Italian American restaurants of mid-20th century in New York, where delicious, exceptionally well-prepared food was served in settings that were simultaneously elegant, comfortable and unpretentious.     Food was quite delicious. Prime rib was very tender. The roasted carrots were meh. The desserts and antipasto were both delicious; the pumpkin pie tarts were super yummy.

    My favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant. Always good food and friendly staff. I always start my meal with the Greek salad garlic bread and wine from a good selection. I often get a fish dish over risotto either salmon,halibut,or swordfish. There pastas are great as well. Love the bolognese sauce. Very similar to what I make at home. Finished with Italian cream cake or tiramisu. The live guitarist normally starts at 7:00. This restaurant never disappoints.

    Everything Duro Hospitality does is a hit, and The Charles is no exception! The service was impeccable, the drinks were top notch, and the food was delectable! We had a large party and showed up to the back bar an hour before for pre dinner drinks and they were so accommodating to take care of us and always kept us informed of the table. They treated the birthday guest to an amazing glass of champagne, and made the whole experience amazing. Charles was our server and he was great! Nate the Manager on duty as well as his whole staff was absolutely amazing. We will be back so many more times, and I am so happy that Duro has this gem in their repertoire!
