We will do everything to not stray too far from the regional and traditional culinary traditions of Italy, mainly from the south Who are we? We are southerners in heart and soul, but we promise to give space to the delicious recipes that Italy proudly offers us and known to the whole world, with pride. Simplicity is our code. Through our dishes we would like to propose to.... The new generations of Italians, Those who emigrated to Australia years ago ,and all those who have interest in experiencing our menu. Through our flavours we will indulge you back to Italy at least for a day. This will be our goal, our greatest gratitude.

Red Hill Estate : a destination not to be missed on the Mornington Peninsula - turning your small moments into unforgettable ones.Drawing inspiration from the Fabrizio family's wine odyssey, which began in Torino de Sangro—a town nestled between the mountains and the sea in Italy's Abruzzo region— the maritime-influenced slopes of the Mornington Peninsula hinterland are home to the iconic Red Hill Estate; a new venue sparks the beginning of a new chapter, offering food and wine experiences in a relaxed dining area with views of the kitchen garden and olive trees.Restaurant bookings are available at 11:45am, 12:00pm, 12:15pm or 2:00pm, 2:15pm, 2:30pm for a duration of two hours. Wine Experience bookings are available at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm and 4:00pm for a duration of 45 minutes.Walk-ins are welcome but bookings are recommended. An intimate and beautiful family-owned Mornington Peninsula winery and restaurant with vineyard views in the heart of premium wine country. Wine and olive oil grown on site, served with Italian-inspired share plates. Sunny terrace in fine weather, cosy cellar room when it’s cold. Estate wines and barbecued quail are specialties. Lunch dishes change seasonally, estate-grown wine tasting all year round.

    Went there for dinner for my wife's birthday. Great experience, weather was perfect, the place was quiet, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Overall, brilliant experience, we would highly recommend it!

    Morning Sun is a fantastic little gem in Main Ridge, operated by truly wonderful, thoughtful people. A 'sister operation' to Foxeys Hangout, this truly reminded us of some fantastic little vineyards in Italy. Whilst experiencing an outstanding lunch at Morning Sun, my wife suddenly felt faint and collapsed. The care extended to us by Ben and his team, aided by a doctor dining at the next table, went beyond outstanding hospitality ... it was absolute care and kindness. Foxeys Hangout is great, but if you have time, say g'day to Ben (a really, really nice gentleman from Lyon, France), at Morning Sun and you will enjoy a wonderful experience. But let me acknowledge Tony Lee from Foxeys, who came up to Morning Sun as the ambulance was leaving and offered to drive me to the hospital. How good is that! As I said, this is not just first-class hospitality ... this is sheer kindness and care for others. But don't forget the tasting lunch ... it's fantastic. We (until my wife passed out), are not great fish eaters. No probs. The menu was adjusted for us and EVERYThING offered was brilliant.

    We've dined here with friends and family on 4 occasions in 2024 and without fail the service is friendly and efficient. Grazia is our preferred local dining venue. Congratulations to all involved. You are getting it right every time .
