Always impeccable service and meal preparation! Worth going to for excellent seafood, appetizers, soups, salads, and drinks. High recommended for both Seastar and sister restaurant John Howie steakhouse !

This is my fourth visit to Takai, and each time, I discover something new. I was told it’s because they always use the best seasonal ingredients, and I can truly see (and taste) the difference. No doubt, I’ll be back again soon!

What an incredible experience overall! Everything we had was absolutely amazing, from drinks and appetizers to the entrees. The staff was very kind and attentive, and we can’t wait to come back!

We used to eat at the Cupertino location often, so this was a nice comfort meal. Plenty of meat and sides. I enjoyed that it didn't get too smoky while we grilled our meat; they changed grills three times. The hostess was rude and clearly not happy to be working, but it didn't detract from our meal. The rest of the staff kind and helpful. Overall, a great spot with plenty of easy parking.
