I had not been to Bar Chef in over a decade. I was surprised and pleased to note that the quality of their finely crafted cocktails has seemed to be even better than before, exceeding the high standard I remember from my last visit.

If you're looking for a place that combines amazing food, top-notch service, and a warm atmosphere, this is the spot.

Incredible value for the New Year’s Day brunch - $68 for a welcome drink, and 2 courses. The servers were friendly and very knowledgeable, able to make many accusations for a gluten free diet and even a non alcoholic drink (that wasn’t just juice). It’s also a huge space which makes it feel relaxing as you’re not yelling to speak and don’t have to be right next to other customers.

I reached out ahead of going since my partner is a wheelchair user. While the bar isn’t accessible (step to get in, washroom downstairs), the staff responded quickly to let us know what the obstacles were and apologized for the inaccessibility. We decided to go anyways and the staff offered to help in anyway they could. They were ready at the door and offered to help lift my partner’s chair into the bar. Was really impressed by how helpful the team was :) The festive decor was so fun and the food and drinks were amazing!! Service was friendly and as quick as it could be considering how busy they were. Great experience :)
