This was our 2nd time attending the Jazz dinner at Geordie’s. The first time was a wonderful experience, this time…meh. We went for my sister’s birthday. Service was inattentive and we were rushed out at the 90 minute mark. Very disappointed that we couldn’t order dessert. Was hoping to get her a piece of cake or something to celebrate. Portion (and no cheese or basil…nothing) on the gnocchi was a bit sparse for the money. It’s unfortunate that my only negative experience at Wrigley was when I was trying to impress someone. They comped our drinks and starters because of the delay, and communicated they were behind (although they mentioned it would be half an hour and I think we got our food around the 50-60 minute mark). However, it wasn’t our servers fault. Probably a series of unfortunate events of people showing up late, staying long, and the kitchen missing a couple tickets. They were working on Christmas so me and my family didn’t have to cook. The food was still fantastic when it arrived and they did what they could to make it right.
