You will feel like home when dining at Bacari Silverlake.We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights. Deme, short for Demeter, (the Greek Goddess of the Harvest) is a new Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean Sea-inspired poolside eatery at Hotel Figueroa, with nods to the sea-faring communities along the Eastern Mediterranean Coast, Turkey, and Israel, led by Executive Chef Blake Shailes. Think: housemade Mediterranean dips served with freshly made pita bread using a combination of ancient Kamut flour and Tehachapi Farms Red Fife Flour, Crispy Lobster Kataifi, Turkish Manti (Turkish Lamb Dumplings), Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza // Spiced Wagyu Flatbread), a Greek-inspired Glazed Octopus & Grilled Grape Skewers, and large-format platters designed for shareable feasts including Slow Cooked Lamb Neck Shawarma, Half Heritage Chicken Mansaf and desserts including housemade Baklava, and housemade Soft Serve paired with a refreshing and playful cocktail program developed by Bar Director, Milosz Cieslak. Open for dinner nightly from 5pm - close.

Levant Bistro is a place to gather with friends and family to experience delicious Levantine cuisine and freshly baked pastries, served with our unique beverages. We believe that good food feeds the tummy and soul, so it is to be respected and cooked with positive intentions, using organic, clean practices and foods free of artificial additives, harmful ingredients, or GMOs.Our menu is created around seasonal ingredients that we prepare fresh every day, so our selections vary based on availability. We use extra-virgin olive oil and grapeseed oil for sautéing; organic ghee, grass-fed butter, and/or grapeseed oil for baking; and we sweeten our desserts with organic cane sugar, organic coconut sugar and/or local raw honey.     We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at MOMED, and it was the perfect spot for a large gathering. With 10 of her friends joining us, the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere made the night feel truly special. The food was delicious and ideal for sharing, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The cocktails were excellent—crafted with care and full of flavor. But what really stood out was the wonderful service. The staff was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly, adding to the celebratory feel of the evening. We ended the night at the bar, which was cheery, lively, and inviting—the perfect way to wrap up the celebration. The bartenders were fun, engaging, and incredibly talented, making the experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place to host a special gathering or just enjoy a great meal with friends, MOMED is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!
