The name honors Fort Lauderdale luminary Evelyn Fortune Bartlett for the beauty she bestowed upon our city.A native of Long Island, New York, Chef Brandon Salomon fell in love with cooking at a young age. After training at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, he worked at acclaimed restaurants and hotels in New York, Florida and San Francisco. In 2015, he joined Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, where he played a major role at the signature restaurant, Florie’s, helmed by three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. Now in Fort Lauderdale, Chef Brandon is bringing the flavors of the Mediterranean to Evelyn’s.

    Always a delicious meal. The Dolce eggplant appetizer is so good. Love the pear pasta purses with Gorgonzola cream sauce. If they have the pistachio cheesecake get it.

    This was my first time dining at Evelyn’s, and it exceeded every expectation. Chris, our server, was an absolute delight and guided us into the perfect menu. We started with the oysters, followed by the tuna kibbeh nayeh and octopus, and then the wagyu skewer, mushroom skewer and batata side. Everything was delicious—highly recommend.

    This was our first time dining at this restaurant, Adriana was amazing, her service was friendly, she recommended items in the menu and mentioned some of the specials they were having. The food was outstanding, it arrived at a great pace with the appetizers and main entrees. The drinks were made to perfection by the bar. Highly recommend and will definitely dine again when in town.

    Friend’s birthday celebration pre- show at Broward Center for the Performing Arts Server was prompt and knowledgeable. Our food selections ranged from appetizers and salad to pasta bolognese and pork chop entrees. The atmosphere was warm and festive - l The restaurant is located a short walk from the Broward Center along the waterfront and is a great complement to an enjoyable evening with friends
