Overall the food was very good, they start you with a wonderful focaccia bread, my husband and I shared the bruschetta. There were 8 of us and my girlfriend and I both ordered the snapper special, it was very flavorful, but the fish itself was slightly overcooked. All the other entrees were very and the portion size is very nice. We have been there several times before and the experience is always very good overall.

The clams appetizer was awesome, and enough for a meal, as was the baked goat cheese. By the time our meals came, which were also awesome, we were full. My husband had the rockfish, which was the best he ever had. I had a salad which was very good. We highly recommend Cafe Azafran.

One of our favorite restaurants in Cape May. Always an excellent dinner and cocktails. Sam, our waitress, was attentive and a good conservationist.

On December 28th, 2024 we had an excellent dinner at The Washington Inn. My wife had roasted wild mushroom soup, baked escargot, and the colors of the garden salad. I had 2 oysters and seafood cioppino. For dessert we shared Bananas Foster. All the food was excellent along with the service. This restaurant exudes old time Cape May quality and I am sorry we have not dined here more often. The bill came to $150 including tip.
