Oh, what a delightful evening we had at Cucina Urbana last night! Picture this: a lively party of ten, including two spirited little ones, arriving with a sprinkle of hesitation about waiting for a table.

Incredible. The food and service was excellent. It was so vibey. Can’t wait to go back.

We really loved the space! It had a great, almost club like atmosphere. I ordered the filet mignon, which I had to cook table side. It was brought to me on a hot stone. It came with rustic potatoes, best potatoes I ever had. My fiance ordered the chicken breast, the chicken was very bland and dry, he was pretty disappointed. Over all great experience, staff was very friendly, will come back. 

It was so much more than the exquisite meal - it was an experience. Callie’s servers are the most knowledgable, best trained, most service oriented team we’ve ever experienced. We had the tasting menu which was EXTRAORDINARY and - for the brave - the delicious Kook Juice from the bar. Our favorite place to dine in San Diego!

The spouse & I were visiting my daughter, who lives in San Diego. She had not been to Madison & neither had we. We all enjoyed the tomato & burrata appetizer. We also had the cioppino, Tuscan sausage rigatoni & chicken piccata; all were so good! Spouse & I had the Ibarra & The Woodsman, which were delicious. Service from Kylee excellent. We also enjoyed the music. My daughter plans to bring her roommates here.
