What was once used as an encampment for General Lafayette's troops during the Revolutionary War has been transformed into a modern, elegant restaurant with the feel and charm of a Tuscan villa.     Lovely ambiance, super nice staff and very fresh, excellent food. The hummus is amazing and the chicken kabobs with rice were delicious. We will definitely visit again!

    Always an amazing experience at BV Tuscany!! I had the grilled scallops with pear segments that was a special appetizer-just delicious. And then the sea bass with vegetables and a very delicate light sauce--outstanding! The fish was cooked perfectly. The cocktails were great--the waiters really know about spirits and what to pair with what. Finished with the sublime tiramisu. Great night!

    Great experience. Food excellent. Reserved the private round table tucked in back of restaurant for 3 couples. Food was excellent everyone loved their choices. Service was good. One thing that was odd was that when we got there all the glasses and plates were upside down rims touching table. We are germaphobes so we wiped down our glasses. Also when server brought the Pellagrino she just plopped it on table not opened, no ice, no lemon. Typically a restaurant will bring it with glasses filled with ice and lemon/lime wedges. Despite these minor oversights, I do recommend this very good restaurant in the heart of Ridgewood.
