I have been to this restaurant several times before. I brought a friend this time. She had never been before. She was blown away! She tends to be very discerning about food and restaurant ambiance. She LOVED it! The whole experience from start to finish was bar none. The waiter was very polite. We did not feel rushed. The food was excellent. My friend loves eggplant and the kashko bademjoon was exemplary. The salmon kabab and chicken breast kabab was very well made, perfectly flavored. Baghlava was delicious without being overly sweet. Highly recommend!

I was in town visiting family for Christmas, all Assyrian immigrants from Iraq, who are very discerning when it comes to "good food." I've not been here in over 10yr, but it has always been my favorite restaurant. I brought the entire family for lunch on 12/26/24. Carlos was our waiter. We had a table of 14 that included three children under 4yr and three teenagers (who asked for I don't know how many refills). I know; we were a lot. The food was not only exceptional, it came out hot, and it came out quickly. Very impressive. I heard at least 4-5 relatives comment on the hummus being "next level," and let me tell you, that is a HUGE compliment from a family of amazing chefs. Carlos was just a wonderful, effcient, and patient server. I waited tables at the Crow's Nest when I was earning my teaching credential, so I know how hard serving a large (loud, needy) party can be, and he never missed a mark. (I hope you use him to train all your new servers).

What a Christmas meal! Everything was delicious. Those gluten free biscuits should be added to weekend brunch… wow!

Excellent small plates: some new ones on the menu, and the old favorites too. I quibble with the wine prices…pretty high, and not very generous pours. But SUCH great food!

Great find for our 7th anniversary dinner. Service was prompt with a lot of personal touch (given that it was our anniversary) and food was excellent!
