Share some plates and have some fun.We don't like to play favourites but you should DEFINITELY try the Hazelnut Muhammara (blitzed red pepper dip topped with a sprinkling of pomegranate, roast hazelnuts, coffee grinds and native honey). A sherwal is a traditional, multi-layered baggy men’s trousers worn in various areas of the Mediterranean. Centuries old, it is a rare sight nowadays, except in remote villages and at traditional cultural ceremonies and, well, at our restaurant. Why name our restaurant after an archaic pants? Because, somehow, this pair of comfortable pants has found its way into our modern world, with little tweaks here and there taking the form of harem pants or baggy jeans, fusing the old with the new. And this is what we want to do. We want to take old culinary masterpieces from the Mediterranean and fuse them together, with new flavours here and there, adding new colours and new tastes to the table.

The food was JUST OKAY 3/5 and we were so disappointed because that’s the reason we went. We had the shared menu and the apps were great but the all of the main course was bland and didn’t live up to the hype. The service was amazing as were the drinks. They even accommodated for allergies and we were running late and they accommodated that too. I would go back again but just not for the shared menu as a group.

Great atmosphere and great food at this small restaurant. It was a Friday night but every table was taken. We all had the set menu costing A$95 which was more than enough for everyone. The accompanying wine was also at a very affordable price. I have no qualms in recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Absolutely exceptional experience for lunch today - the food quality the service the ambience everything was on point and the team is to be commended. Strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an excellent Lebanese fine dining value for money meal.
