現在Shrimp Boxが建つ場所は、1940年にFranklin E. Barmore Sr.によって購入されたのち、商業漁業の水揚げ場として栄えていました。Barmore家のFrank Sr., EdithとFrank Jr.は、その水揚げ場の隣で小売魚市場を創業し、大西洋岸への魚類の輸送および販売を行っていました。 1953年、Frank Jr.とその母、Barmore夫人（現未亡人）は、小さなテイクアウトのシーフードの売店を始めました。売店の繁盛に伴い、数年後には魚の小売店（現ロビー＆キッチンの一部）をオープンし、当初カウンター4席だった座席は36座席にまで拡大しました。 Frank Barmoreは1982年に亡くなり、その妻と娘には彼のレストランが残されました。 1999年度末、Shrimp Boxの所有権は、Nick GyftakisおよびGeorge Pappasに移りました。Nick＆Georgeは1970年代以来のビジネスパートナーです。歴史あるレストランでの食事は、思い出に残るものとなるはずです。

This restaurant offers a delightful dining experience before or after a performance at BAM. It’s a few blocks from BAM. There is outdoor seating. We started with spicy guacamole while the mixed ceviche was a hit with our granddaughter, who couldn't get enough of it (it wasn't quite to my taste). Our granddaughter enjoyed her steak tacos, and my pork tostada—which came as a pair—was delicious. My husband's mixed tacos were also delicious. The atmosphere is charming and the staff are attentive. We recommend this place for a delicious meal in a cozy space.

Rosalita's is a good local Mexican restaurant. There is a bar scene for those who see that vibe, and a family section as well. Prices at Rosalita's are very reasonable. They have a nice variety of cocktails and a large menu. Portions are large and the food is very tasty.

really nice food & drinks enjoy going there taking friends & family visiting us out of state as well as out of country they also love the restaurant
