Some friends got married on short notice after thirty years together so we impulsively invited them to a celebratory dinner on short notice. It was also a third guests birthday. On the drop down menu, we called it a "special occaision" but to get special attention such as what my husband and I have enjoyed for our own anniversary last month, I should have chosen anniversary or birthday. Nonetheless, the service and food were excellent. The booth for five very comfortably seated us for light conversation with a view of the river for four out of five. From time to time some other guests were rather loud, but overall, for most of our meal, the noise level was low enough to converse in inside voices. In December, Salty's offered a reward for buying gift cards. I did so and highly recommend the ease with which I redeemed the rewards for our anniversary and used a good chunk of the gift card for this evening's dinner.

From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth and hospitality, thanks to Jean, whose charm and attentiveness set the perfect tone for the evening. Then there’s Mark—the mastermind in the kitchen—crafting dishes that are nothing short of spectacular. Every plate is a testament to his skill and passion, with flavors that are bold, balanced, and unforgettable. Whether it’s a classic favorite or a seasonal special, each bite feels like a carefully curated masterpiece. Avanti isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary haven where hospitality and artistry come together in perfect harmony. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family!

The new tasting menu at the Jory is awesome. Each course was incredibly thoughtful and well executed. Go for the wine pairings - they are a fun mix of local and international wines, with some fun pairings in there you wouldn't expect. Service was friendly and attentive. The Black Cod and Pork Tasting dishes were our favorites. Add the Jory to your list for your next special occasion meal.

The food at Yalla was all delicious, the hummus with burnt ends and radicchio salad to start were so incredibly flavorful. The short ribs, skewers and delicate squash were all wonderful. Cocktails were well made and good wine as well. This place does not disappoint, so lucky to have it so close to home!!!

We’ve blown past Parkway Grille for years—made FUN of it, even—why would we go out on a date to a random hotel restaurant with a view of the freeway? But we kept seeing reviews and even articles about the place, so we tried it on a whim. HOLY WOW, we’ve been missing out on an amazing dining experience, right under our noses, this whole time! The service was impeccable—Isaac is absolutely delightful and gave us killer menu suggestions; the other server, Carrie, is SO much fun to talk to—and the drinks! Zhanna is an epic bartender and she personally delivers the most beautiful cocktails to your table! The food was other worldly—my husband’s ribeye was perfect and my salmon was delicious. The appetizers were perfect, dessert was wonderful—the entire bill was really reasonable, and we’re kicking ourselves for skipping over Parkway Grille for so long. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you again for a lovely date night dinner!
