Westchase​のベストオイスターバー

I had eaten at the Clark's Oyster in Austin, but this was my first time in Houston. The meal was excellent! I had the Texas Redfish on the Halfshell. It was perfectly done and very flavorful. The Paprika Vinaigrette on the side was pleasantly spicy and an excellent compliment. The service was terrific; attentive and well informed, but not obtrusive.

The food is consistently good in taste, quality, and presentation. This is one of my favorite “go to” places for business lunch meetings because my guests always leave feeling appreciated impressed. And it won’t break the bank. 

Went with another couple on a cold rainy weeknight. Due to the weather the restaurant was only half full. The free valet was a very nice convenience, too. Everything we ordered, all family style and shared (5 kinds of oysters, fried chicken, gumbo, tuna torta, and shrimp dumplings) was outstanding. Our drinks (an old fashioned and a passionfruit gin cocktail) were delicious. Dessert was a nice treat, a giant “order how you want it with as many toppings as you want” sundae that three of us chose to order, each made our own way. All in all, it was a great evening with great food and great friends.

Always a pleasurable dining experience. Service is outstanding as well as menu selections and especially the amazing preparation and flavors. The ambiance is very well done and the valet parking is a special convenience. I highly recommend Eddie V’s for a perfect night out for dinner.
