Persepolis Is a Persian/ Mediterranean restaurant with a dynamic atmosphere and 20 years of experience! The restaurant is famous for verity of kebabs and refreshing salads and gently spiced grilled meats. The yogurt and cucumber blended with a little mint is made exceedingly well and is an ideal cool compliment to Persepolis’ rounds of Pita & Barbari bread. Our kebabs which include moist and delicious salmon or saffron chicken are served without heavy sauces. Instead they are served with a choice of four rices including an intriguing blend of Basmati rice and marinated sour cherries. Our personalized wine list truly compliments our cuisine. We also offer a full classic bar. We look forward to seeing you!

Chef Nasrin can’t remember life before cooking. For her, cooking is an expression of love. In her family’s kitchen in Tehran, she faithfully learned secret recipes and delicate skills from her grandmother and mother. Nasrin's kitchen menu is a celebration of traditional dishes from all over Iran.The menu consists of classic stews including her signature Fesenjoon - an elegant combination of pomegranate molasses and crushed walnuts, as well as other beloved favorites like Ghormeh sabzi. Kabobs, vegetarian centric appetizers and savory side dishes also adorn the colorful menu.Chef Nasrin and her authentic cooking has been featured in several renowned publications: including the New York Times, The New Yorker Magazine, Vogue Magazine, Eater. Parklife is an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar in Gowanus. We offer tacos, tlacoyos and tlayudas inspired by Mexican, Persian and Texan flavors. We feature seasonal cocktails, local beers and small batch spirits. Open all year round, we also host free weekly and monthly events to make your dining experience truly unique. All events are free to attend with a 2-drink minimum purchase to participate.Reservations are available for groups less than 18 people. Walk-ins are welcome pending capacity.     Our time at Persepolis was wonderful. My husband and I decided to have dinner there for Christmas Day evening. The Sambosa were delicious, falafel was so tasty. My husband enjoyed the cornish game hen. I tasted it and yes, it would wonderful. I ordered and enjoyed immensely the lamb kebab. All through dinner, we were taken care of by our server and it was lovely.

    Tucked away upstairs near 5th Ave this was a revelation! I won't bother mangling the names but the eggplant appetizer was amazing & definitely order extra bread. We could have shared 1 entree, with such generous portions. We both had a different chicken dish, one with chicken in the rice with loads of pomegranate seeds & pistachios decorating the plate & the other bone in chicken in a delicious sauce with saffron & basmati rice (I recommend the cucumber, mint yogurt side to accompany the chicken). So delicious! We will return again! Thanks for a wonderful meal.
