Spending over 20 years in the music business, Max had always dreamed of a place he could create that catered for his love of great food and also be a relaxed and enjoyable space with a great soundtrack. He’s enlisted the help of long-term musical partner Simon Marlin who he enjoyed many years of success with under The Shapeshifters guise and launched in September 2016. With the boys long-term roots in West London it was always going to see Rubio begin its adventure close to home.

Beautiful meal once again at Koka. We had an early evening booking so only a few tables taken but the didn’t take away from the nice ambiance. Just one tip I would give is regarding the heating. It was quite cold and I think this may have been due to the time we were there as it hadn’t been an issue on previous visits. It was an extremely cold evening outside as well so this probably didn’t help either. Can’t wait to return *****

Always easy to decide on Piccola. Good, freshly made food, great staff, a friendly welcome - what's not to like? If we are heading to Hampstead, this is going to be very high on our list of places to eat.
