We are a traditional family run pub that has resisted the urge to become upmarket and overly prententious, offering restaurant quality food at pub prices.You will be lucky to find a busier pub or even restaurant on weekdays than ours.Our 300g Porterhouse steak has become a Geelong icon, offering unrivalled quality at a very competitive price. Valhalla Brewing was born from a love of great independent beer. In 2016, founder Scott Hunt turned his passion into a business. Scott's journey began in university, when he developed a keen interest in home brewing. His appreciation for beer grew, leading him and his wife Ange to launch Valhalla’s first beer, Obsidian, in 2016.Obsidian gained popularity, expanding the Valhalla range. By 2021, Obsidian won the AIBA award for Best Stout/Porter, and Valhalla was named Champion Gypsy Brewer.In 2018, Valhalla opened the Valhalla Taproom on Union St, Geelong.
