Me and my boyfriend decided to eat in this restaurant for the suggestive location but I have to say that also the food was really good. What we took was satisfying: the mussels were very fresh and also the halibut was great. The non-fish options were also good. Service was enjoyable but very discreet, which allowed us to have enjoy the night together and we really appreciated that. We had a great time and part of it was thanks to the staff; we asked a couple of pictures and they were really nice and had no problem doing that. We would just give a couple tips for the restaurant. We thought that it would be great to implement tablecloths on the restaurant’s tables to make it even nicer than it already is. A second tip is to offer some type of discount or a small tasting of another dish if the item requested by costumers is no longer available or cannot be prepared. Other than that our experience was very satisfying.

As always, Chef Rucker knows how to bring it! The food, service, ambience, music and vibe were all on point. The swordfish belly app, lobster toast, hash browns, crab claws, blue fun tuna, cabbage, scallops, swordfish Milanese, sea bass, ham and squid ink biscuits and chicken were unreal. This is our third visit, and the consistency and quality were outstanding. We’ve probably had every menu item and have been enjoying the changing drinks menu as well. The matcha cocktail is a favorite, can drink it like water! The new mezcal Negroni was delish!!! You have to get the desserts. I crave them constantly now. The granola cremeaux is in my dreams.

Barclay Prime Review My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Barclay Prime, and it was a fantastic experience! The ambiance was elegant, with a lively atmosphere that leaned a bit noisy—not the restaurant’s fault, just the energy of the night. The food was absolutely wonderful, and you truly get what you pay for in terms of quality and presentation. I highly recommend dining here for a special occasion or a treat-yourself moment. Using OpenTable to make our reservations added convenience and ensured everything went smoothly. Barclay Prime definitely made the night memorable for us, and we can’t wait to visit again!

Was a delightful classic Italian meal. We had pasta and seafood dishes and everything was outstanding. The mussels in white wine sauce were particularly delicious. The service was exceptional. I’ve been here a few times in the 70s/80s and it was fun to take our children there! ❤️

We went on Christmas Eve for drinks at the bar with friends and then a 5 course prix fixe dinner for 2. Both experiences were fabulous. Quality bartender and the table service team was top notch: professionally urgent, menu advice, flexible to small adjustments, on top of clearing and packaging to go, no time holes in waiting for food or drinks, EXCELLENT FOOD. I am embarrassed I lived in Philly for 21 years before coming here. I have been missing out. Will definitely be back.
