Founded by Kim, or “SuperKim,” the restaurant’s story began in Thailand, where he grew up learning to cook from his mom and grandmother in the bustling street food markets. Their lessons in fresh ingredients and bold spices became the foundation of his unique style. In 2016, Kim started with a humble food cart in Portland, blending his Thai heritage with rich Cajun flavors. His creations quickly gained a following, and by 2024, he opened SuperKim Crab House in Seattle’s Pioneer Square.
