This is the second year I’ve came to Prime to celebrate Thanksgiving (with standard menu) . Outstanding food + service , ambience is always so warm and welcoming love the decor and vibe of the restaurant . Professional staff and the food is worth making the 45 minute drive from south shore to dine ! Will be coming back next year ! Founders House has been our Thanksgiving dinner destination for the last three years. We always look forward to the experience. The menu consists of your choice of traditional turkey dinner, prime rib, or baked stuffed shrimp. The turkey is moist and delicious, the prime rib cooked perfectly and the shrimp generously stuffed with tasty stuffing. All are served with mashed potatoes potatoes (best I’ve ever had) and perfectly sautéed whole green beans. The specialty cocktails are amazing and service is impeccable. Many thanks to Founders House for making our Thanksgiving meal so special.

One of my favorite places to eat! You must try the portobello burger, it’s fabulous. So many great flavors all on one plate. Very filling. The waiter was very attentive and efficient. I will definitely be back !!

I had the scrambled eggs with lobster, excellent! Our server was prompt, personable, professional and just excellent! Sat in a glassed in section in the back of the restaurant which was great. Highly recomment!

The ambient soundtrack, not heavy metal or rap but I caught Jon Bon Jovi in ther, tells you something about this restaurant’s schizophrenic identity. The menu is almost excessively wide-ranging, from wings to lobster, in an sattempt to appeal to all comers, yet the prices invite a somewhat higher-incomed clientele. The interior is hardscaped, with no sound-absorbing fabric in sight(except the napkins) amidst the poured flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and granite tabletops. The service was accomodating but slow at obvious transition points in the progression of the meal. Our order: appetizer of calamari was plentiful, oddly(for me) sprinkled with gorgonzola and drizzled with balsamic but delicious; an ahi tuna salad ( beautifully presented) and a clam and bacon flatbread that seemed a bit overdone/crispy. Two proseccos, a glass of pinot grigio and a bill of $120…. I want to try this location on a summer evening when there’s outdoor dining and enough light to enjoy the harborviews. Otherwise, it is not a top choice in several categories
