Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. The fare is American with bits of Italian influences. We have been featured on KQED "Check Please Bay Area". I celebrated my birthday with a group of 8 - it was an experience like no other from entering into the establishment to the end with the group of waiters singing happy birthday (Stevie Winder version🥰) and presenting me with a slice of butter pecan cheesecake - we all enjoyed our meals and can't wait to return

Tri-tip is a bit tough. There is a fine line between grilled and burnt shrimp and they seem to cross over to the latter more often than not. Service and ambience is great though.
