Humo [oo-moh], is a modern firehouse situated in the heart of Watford, serving Spanish inspired meat, seafood, fish, and seasonal vegetables cooked in a charcoal and wood oven. The furnace reaches temperatures of over 300 degrees Celsius so the produce is seared and smoked in seconds, making sure the flavour sings on your palate, and not on the plate.The restaurant boasts a beautiful, seated island bar, a peephole into the working kitchen and covers for over 100 guests. Great local and I’m a proper regular -it’s a huge space to heat and the front doors could do with a heater above then to stop the draughts and be better sealed / I know all the staff and they know me and that makes a good local and the food is just my taste and the starters and particularly good : keep it up team cheers Crichton

Had a wonderful meal last night. Tried many tapas with the chorizo and butterbean stew stealing the show. Also hit the cocktails which were 2 for 1. Good value for good food.

Perfect spot for a date. Mr. Pepe made our date perfect. There are no words to describe how good food and hospitality was. If you are looking for a place to eat good food drink good wine and spend quality time together it is the spot that you are looking for. The wife and I went for a mid-week date night and had a lovely time at Humo. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the decor and overall aesthetic was very cool and most importantly the food was delicious. It’s a great asset to Watford high street.
