When making the reservation, we had indicated that we are both gluten free diners - this was confirmed when we were seated and reconfirmed by each member of the wait staff who served us, which we greatly appreciated. We started with the berries and bubbles mocktail, followed by truffle deviled eggs (amazing!) and house salad appetizers. Our main dishes — ribeye with black truffle butter and twin lobster tails with drawn butter — were perfectly cooked and everything you’d expect from an upscale surf and turf dinner. We shared a strawberry shortcake for dessert - as gluten free diners, we didn’t eat the graham cracker crust on the bottom but the cream cheese and strawberry filling was delicious. We appreciated the excellent service from our server Christian - attentive without being intrusive. I get it when dining at a hotel restaurant there are going to be rowdy guest but the group at the bar , especially the women were throwing “ f” bombs most of the evening. The valet was unavailable so after my husband waited a good 10min he parked himself. The front desk attendant wasn’t clear where the fireside restaurant was.
