I rarely leave a review but I really am amazed by the experience we had tonight. I saw this place on TikTok and it’s the first time I’ve gone to a restaurant strictly off a social media review. It was an hour and a half for us as we’re in PA but for a birthday celebration we made the drive. We were greeted at the front by multiple staff members and the chef/owner who wish me a happy birthday and sat us quickly. We ordered 4 apps; the steak tartar, clams, meatballs and shrimp which were all amazing. Our service was amazing and I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years. I’m not exaggerating when I say we were taken very well care of by the staff. For our main entree we got a filet mignon and the Mac n cheese to share. For 2 people this was perfect. We both decided to push it for dessert and get tiramisu and cheesecake. The portion sizes for everything were perfect. I feel for the price, experience and atmosphere everything was priced accordingly and I was not disappointed. They came out with a birthday plate as well and we wrapped up the evening. If there was one thing I had to point out was seating, just personal preference I don’t like sitting so close to others but with fine dining it’s understandable to get seating close to each other. Really 5/5. Like I said, the personal preference with seating was only thing and it’s really so small compared to the overall meal. I had a great birthday dinner and great service. Highly recommend. Only regret, not taking photos of all my food.

Enjoyed a delectable dinner with a good Cabernet at a decent value. Service was cordial and generally timely. The ambiance is tolerable - an interior design refresh could improve the dated look.

It was lovely eating in the train car and the food and service were excellent. That being said, the prices are very high, and if they continue to rise, I will not be able to afford to enjoy what Rod's has to offer much longer.

We enjoyed the food but the service was impeccable! Charlene was so attentive and knew what we needed. She didn’t forget anything. Charline really made our experience excellent.

A very nice evening. I took my husband out for his birthday. When we arrived, we had a reservation and were seated right away. There was a nice card that read Happy Birthday on the table. The waiter recommended a tasty glass of wine and knew the specials very well. The jumbo shrimp and risotto dish was delicious. My husband had the Chilean sea bass and said it was very good. At the end of dinner, the waiter brought over a complimentary plate with two cannolis and Happy Birthday written on the plate. They even lit a candle for him. We’re definitely returning.
