We are a small, family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in carefully sourced Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail.Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered fresh daily by "Sea Mcgee". Our venison comes from wild Perthshire deer, lamb from the Scottish Borders. I've eaten at Ardnamurchan before and it was just lovely. Glad to go back again. It's a bit of a treat as I'm on a limited budget, but it was well worth it. As a vegetarian, there were some dishes I'd never tried, which is always a treat. For starter I had wild mushroom parfait which was as smooth and tasty as anything. I then had roasted celeriac with chestnuts and it was simply divine. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and very friendly and really efficient. Can't recommend Ardnamurchan highly enough.

Food was perfect, waitress was brilliant The greeter on first floor could have been a bit more cheery to make the overall experience even better however the waitress was friendly , knew the menu inside out and was just so pleasant. The food was all perfect

It was absolutely amazing. The venison Wellington was to die for, and very reasonably priced. The processes of meat explanation and choice of weapon (aka, knives) were entertaining, and made the meal that much more enjoyable. Louise, our server, was so kind and thorough- she deserves a raise and every major holiday off. And as a bonus, the manager is very charming and handsome :) Definitely stop by if you get the chance!
