Our waitress, Kate, was friendly. helpful and knowledgeable. We started with fried calamari, which was prepared perfectly. My husband had the 4-oz filet mignon and I had the starter-size Nantucket scallops and a salad. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. I’m sure it was at least 20 years ago, but that is one outrageous increase in price. It prevents us from going to the restaurant more often than we do. Now if we go once a year, it’s just a special treat. We used to go a lot more often. However, times, Covid, etc. are all reasons we can’t go more often anymore. We had the crabcakes which were delicious for an appetizer, and we had a side salad for myself, which was plenty, quite a nice serving! I also had the Wednesday special chicken that was excellent. The broccolini was very good only the Brussel sprouts were tough and unexceptional. The potatoes au gratin were very good. The seared salmon was perfectly done.
