This is the second year I’ve came to Prime to celebrate Thanksgiving (with standard menu) . Outstanding food + service , ambience is always so warm and welcoming love the decor and vibe of the restaurant . Professional staff and the food is worth making the 45 minute drive from south shore to dine ! Will be coming back next year ! My husband and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch today. We got there around noon and was warmly greeted by staff and brought to our table. We ordered drinks and both had the turkey dinner. Every part of it was delicious and the portion was enough for another meal tomorrow. Our waiter Jared was attentive and friendly as was everyone helping with serving and clearing our table. Glad we made a reservation at Cast Iron Chef for Thanksgiving.

The ambient soundtrack, not heavy metal or rap but I caught Jon Bon Jovi in ther, tells you something about this restaurant’s schizophrenic identity. The menu is almost excessively wide-ranging, from wings to lobster, in an sattempt to appeal to all comers, yet the prices invite a somewhat higher-incomed clientele. The interior is hardscaped, with no sound-absorbing fabric in sight(except the napkins) amidst the poured flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and granite tabletops. The service was accomodating but slow at obvious transition points in the progression of the meal. Our order: appetizer of calamari was plentiful, oddly(for me) sprinkled with gorgonzola and drizzled with balsamic but delicious; an ahi tuna salad ( beautifully presented) and a clam and bacon flatbread that seemed a bit overdone/crispy. Two proseccos, a glass of pinot grigio and a bill of $120…. I want to try this location on a summer evening when there’s outdoor dining and enough light to enjoy the harborviews. Otherwise, it is not a top choice in several categories
