This was our first time visiting The Lakehouse after driving by it countless times, and it definitely lived up to the hype! It was the perfect choice for our anniversary celebration. From the moment we arrived, the team went out of their way to make us feel special. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes. We had a 5 PM reservation on a Saturday, and the place was busy. I’d highly recommend booking a reservation in advance unless you’re okay with waiting. A special shoutout to our server, Mathew, who provided exceptional service and made our experience even better. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Was greeted promptly and seated right away. Different seating arrangements. The room was dimly lit. Could have used a little more light. The server was very professional and prompt. The menu had many choices. The price is slightly higher but probably typical for that level of service and restaurant. We were going to a Raps game and wanted to enjoy a restaurant with a higher star review. This place was great. I would recommend it.

Another incredible experience at Daphne!! I went twice in one week during my trip to Toronto and it could not have been more perfect. I stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the tuna carpaccio, seafood pasta, and truffle fries. Michael, Amanda, and Lou were so attentive and friendly. I can truly say Daphne has been the highlight of my trip! What an amazing start to the new year!

Probably one of the best tables available in the country! The prime rib was cooked and seasoned to perfection and I know prime rib!!! Plus the fit for a king -sized Yorkshire pudding was the absolute perfect compliment to the meal. I also had the maple tart for dessert which was served sauced with maple syrup made from the sap of a one hundred year old tree and topped with a hearty wedge of a soft brie-like cheese. We stated with a lobster spaghetti in a delicious cream sauce which sounds heavy but was not. We also were treated to tender,smoked slices of pork belly (they called it bacon) also in a sweet sauce along with a fresh-from- the- farm bowl of Gem lettuce with a green olive dressing which, in itself, was delectable.The service was highly professional and welcoming. What a fabulous addition to the Toronto culinary scene! Can’t wait to go back!

Acknowledged our anniversary in a lovely way! The food was generally very good with the exception of one of the pieces of my husband‘s fish was overcooked. But the salmon was perfect, and the bacon wrapped scallops as the appetizer were delicious. No regrets and a lovely memory!
