When dining in at Union, you want to have Alberto as your waiter! He is everything you could ask for when visiting for your first time. Very knowledgeable of the food and the drinks. Recommended the sea bass satay and it was out of this world! My favorite item by far. Alberto was super friendly, very attentive and knew a lot about the food menu and the drinks. He also guided us into getting the perfect bottle of wine. I will be back for the amazing food and Alberto’s service. The bartender Shawn makes the best espresso martinis ever!

Decorated in holiday garnish, the decor was tasteful and festive. We were seated quickly in a window side table great for people watching, and there is plenty of that. We were pre-game for the arena which is just across the street and Simon attended to our every need, but we were never rushed. The menu is not vast but there are plenty of great options and all were delivered timely. The bar is full and busy. And although we only ordered wine, (their list is loaded with great french wine options!) Plenty of cocktails were delivered to tables all around us and none were returned to the bar. We each had a salad with added protein and both of us had soup, he the bisque, me the French Onion soup. All excellent and a full meal. But the french onion soup was extraordinary. Loaded with cheese topping, loaded with onion, hot but edible and fabulous bouillon. A stand out course that exceeded expectations. Reservations are a must as this restaurant is a hot ticket in a high traffic area. The arena is booked virtually every night. But it is moderately priced, service was great and food and beverages were excellent! Noisy, but part of the ambiance in a busy, bustling place.

You haven’t been to Charley’s and gotten the full experience unless you’ve had Adonis as your server. He made us feel like we were royalty and his passion when explaining the steak and food options really elevated our experience. The food choices we made (some which were great recommendations by Adonis) were all what we expected when going to a restaurant of this caliber. However, the service we received from Adonis is what sets Charley’s apart from every steak house in Tampa. Request Adonis and ask to sit by the fish tank for date night in order to enjoy some great food and a great atmosphere for you and a loved one.

We had a fantastic time 12-27-24. Dinner was outstanding I had the prime and my date had the sea bass. It was my birthday and everyone went out of their way to wish me a happy birthday. Our server Bryan was excellent quick with service and getting anything we needed. It is a little pricey so be sure to check out the menu to see if it fits your purse.

I REALLY liked Flemings’ previous Tampa location, as it was more of a low a key calmer dining experience. Having said that, the new Tampa Flagship location is also very good. New location service is impeccable. New location is EXTREMELY loud inside vs the older previous location. Regardless, service and food is GREAT!
