I treated my husband to an outstanding dinner at the Capital Grill for his birthday last night. The food was of the highest quality and could not have been any better. I had the New England clam chowder and it had lots of clam pieces in it and was delicious. My husband had the filet Oscar and both the filet and the crabmeat were delicious. I had the sliced filet over onions and mushrooms with a fig balsamic essence and I absolutely loved it. Our server, Savannah, was one of the best servers we have ever had and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. When we walked into the restaurant they seated us at our table and had a birthday card and lots of little birthday balloon confetti on our table and it made my husband feel very special. After dinner they brought him a surprise dessert with a candle so I could sing to him - and I did not ask them to bring it - they surprised both of us....and it was an amazing dessert - flourless chocolate cake and cheese cake with burnt sugar glazing on it. Newtown is lucky to have such a fabulous restaurant....we can't wait to dine there again!

We were seated promptly. There are indoor and outdoor dining options. Service was efficient and server was knowledgeable and helpful. Food was quite good.

This is our second visit to Firebirds. We have had incredible service and the food has been delectable. Our server tonight was amazing. He was attentive and very friendly. He made sure everything was perfect for our evening out. I had one of their signature drinks tonight and it was very delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit in the very near future.

Terri is the best server. She makes our dinner at Revere fun and special.

The atmosphere, ambiance, service are all wonderful here! Its a very nice night out. The food is excellent -- fresh, well prepared, good portions -- highly recommend!
