Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. First time at this establishment and was very pleased. Small restaurant with a nice vibe and friendly staff. For those that care the music selection was on point, a jazzy club vibe. Wait staff was very attentive, drinks were good and the food was plentiful and good. I would definitely go again to see if my first time was a fluke or if this is really a hidden gem.

We had the best Christmas Eve dinner! The Dover Sole was the best I’ve ever had. Calamari and crab cakes are also delicious. Who can resist the baked Alaska for dessert? Our server was wonderful!

Wonderful Christmas Eve experience at the Ruxton. We opted for a late lunch and were totally satisfied with the service, ambiance and (of course) the food. My filet was prepared exactly as requested and it was extremely tender and delicious. My wife’s salmon dish was equally satisfying. If you haven’t been to the Ruxton yet, you have to try it. You won’t be disappointed!
