Great staff and plenty in attendance to offer great service. Polite and attentive. No waiting and both service and food prompt. Food superb quality and plentiful

We were greeted with a warm welcome. Although initially quiet due to the early booking the room quickly filled. The ambience was warm and relaxed, just how a brasserie should be. The service was friendly and attentive. The amuse bouche was a nice touch and very tasty. We enjoyed the cheese soufflé and wood pigeon starters both of which were excellent. This was followed by lamb two ways and the venison. These were accompanied perfectly by wines selected by the house as a wine flight. For dessert , the flambé tarte tatin arrived with some theatre and rounded off a lovely way to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. A nice find that we will be sure to visit again soon.

Was a very nice mother’s day treat young children welcomed and thankfully had guten free kids menu and measures in place to avoid cross contamination on gluten free foods.

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.
