We sat outside in December and it was so lovely. Not crowded at all at around 7:30 when we sat down. The food was so good we have dinner there every time we are in Coral Gavles. The Osumi Experience and the Omakase are both delicous. Love the crunchy rice, really gives the sushi some cool texture.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Maria. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, from her warm welcome to her impeccable attention to detail. Maria’s knowledge of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine kindness made us feel so special. If you’re looking for amazing food and top-notch service, this is the place to be. Thank you, Maria, for making our night extraordinary!

I absolutely love PaperFish! I’ve gone for a little over 3 years and the food has only gotten better. The salmon crispy rice is my favorite, always go for 4 pieces. We got the Salmon furai roll and Ebi Katsu roll, everything was really fresh and tasty. No dessert because honestly nothing caught our eye but all in all, 20/10 experience.

Very nice lively location, very good service. Food was very good, short but well balanced menu. Desserts were excellent. Prices in the high side, not an everyday outing unless money is not a concern. Very good experience overall.

Kao is an underrated spot in Coral Gables. Many restaurants pop up and last a year or 2. Kao has persevered without sacrificing quality and service. My husband and I had not been in since Covid. We were in the Gables and decided to revisit the place and it did not disappoint. We like many things about Kao: the diverse menu options, all of which were delicious, excellent service from our thoughtful server Helen, excellent cocktails, ambiance is fun and creative and they turn into a club on the weekend. My husband and I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank which was super tender and flavorful after being stewed over 5 hours. The mixed vegetables were delicious as well. Our friends had the grilled octopus which was tender and delicious and the Flap Steak which was tender and tasty. We started with a sausage appetizer and the sausage was spicy and tasty. We also each had an empanada of a different flavor. They were crispy and tasty. For dessert, we shared the brownie sunday and the choc chip cookie sunday which were both delicious.
