 A wonderful wonderful birthday night for my girlfriend! …thank you so much to the entire staff, but especially McKenzie for organizing and helping me organize my outlandish ideas and see to it that my fruition were met with ferocity. The food kept coming, and everybody was overwhelmed by the amount! They’re all delight by the plate presentation’s, the aroma’s, and the flavour palette, perfect blend warm, crispy, textural food that was a delight to consume. Super kudos to that amazing kitchen staff and chef.  The adding of the smoke sardines on the cracker with pomegranate seeds and that little squeeze of mayonnaise made the night for my girlfriend, all her favourite things on her favourite cracker.  And then my boo-boo are bringing a cake with nuts, to a nut free restaurant, was turned into a magnificent platter of desserts to tantalize the taste buds and eyeballs! Great job Vin Room! I had an amazing Boxing Day dinner with server Cody. Cody gave exceptional service and had lots of knowledge about the menu. We started with the dish: Zucchini and Truffle Arancini. It had some walnut spread at the bottom and it complimented together perfectly. Then we moved on the Mafaldine Alla Vodka dish. The mafaldine pasta was delicious, a great switch up from other pastas. It came with a chunk of Burrata cheese on top. Again, so yummy! Our main dish was The Whole Lemon Sole. Upon serving our fish, they cut open and hand picked the skeleton out! Ended the night with 2 desserts: ChristMint Cheesecake Tree and Bourbon w Irish Eggnog Ice Cream

We went to Gyu kaku at a much later time on Christmas Eve and the service and food was efficient despite how busy it was. The initial food arriving was very fast but when it came time to switch the grill, paying the bill, and waiting on dessert, it took some time and the staff did their very best despite closing in the last 15min. I appreciate the staff for working through the holidays and we see everyone doing their best through the chaos.

It was my second time here and I love it ! The place is small but very cozy and pretty, staff is very nice and can recommend you drinks according to your own tastes if you don't know what to go for. The food is good, we tried the hummus and feta dips + balsamic bread and we both enjoyed it very much ! It is definitely a place I will come back to !
