Muro was born out of a deep love for Spanish cuisine and a passion for sharing the vibrant culture of Spain with the people of London. Founded in 2024, our journey began with a simple idea: to recreate the lively and communal dining experience of traditional Spanish tapas bars, right here in the heart of the city.Inspired by the sights, sounds, and flavours of Spain’s bustling food markets and intimate taverns, Muro is more than just a restaurant – it’s a celebration of togetherness. Tapas, with its small plates and rich variety, encourages sharing and conversation, bringing people closer with every dish. We wanted to take that same spirit and create a space where locals and visitors alike could come together, share a meal, and enjoy an unforgettable culinary journey.

Ember Yard is the fourth restaurant from Salt Yard Group and has been influenced by our travels around Spain and Italy and their methods of cooking over charcoal and wood.We commissioned and custom built a bespoke, Basque-style grill and sourced some amazing single species sustainable charcoal and wood from Kent to cook with. We use only the finest seasonal produce, and introduce – as has become our style – our spin on flavours of Spain and Italy.Ember Yard is located in the heart of Soho and is a lovely two storey restaurant and bar, with an open plan kitchen on the ground floor and a cool and cosy bar on the lower ground floor. Dehesa opened in January 2008 and is the sister restaurant to Salt Yard in Fitzrovia, Opera Tavern in Covent Garden and Ember Yard in Soho, offering sharing dishes served in a relaxed environment.The restaurant is named after the Dehesa- a unique woodland area in Spain which is home to the black-footed Ibérico pigs – said to produce the best Jamon in the world. We take inspiration from Italian tradition but give all of our dishes a Morso twist. All of our food is served in small portions allowing our guests to discover a variety of styles in one meal. On the bar front, we chose Grappa as our champion spirit. Distilled from wine pomace, Grappa is a superlative drink and highly versatile. It offers a menu of small plates and Spanish dishes that honour the country’s culinary heritage and innovation, combining the best seasonal produce with its contemporary style, perfectly reflecting modern diners’ appetite for flexible dining. The free-flow brunch will set the beat of the weekend, with DJ sets and live entertainment. The brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday from £45 per person, with the addition of free-flowing cocktails and bubbles for £85 per person.
