Moro and Morito chef proprietors, Sam & Sam Clark, opened their third restaurant, located at 195 Hackney Road in 2016.Morito Hackney Road's Head Chef, Sevan Tchivitdji, draws influences from Southern Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.Morito has a concise offering of wines from the Mediterranean - primarily mainland Spain and Portugal - with a couple of lesser-known wines from the Canary Islands. Nestled into the corner of Spitalfields, we have recently re-branded as a small plates bar, cafe & restaurant, serving up wonderful seasonal plates made with the freshest ingredients, cakes & pastries. All alongside an extensive range of British & Belgian beer, self-imported French wine, Andronica's marvellous coffee & tasty cocktails. Our bar is the product of over 20 years’ work by couple Kay and Peter Sinden, who have now passed on the daily running of the place to their own children. A daily set lunch allows for the perfect environment for a quick lunch meeting & to impress your clients. Rooms are also available for private hire. Please enquire for details. Great place in an up and coming neighborhood! We had a special visiting Greek chef when we were there and everything was excellent. Nice wine too! If I lived there, this would be my regular place! Unfortunately, I'm not near Seven Sisters much...
